Accountant - Treality SVS

The Accountant performs a variety of accounting support tasks in the areas of accounting/finance. This person also manage projects and other duties that can be assigned.

 

Required Qualifications and Skills

  • Degree in accounting/finance (Advanced degree is a plus) with three or more years’ experience. Preferably with project accounting experience
  • Experience in using ERP and Financial Systems.
  • Microsoft Office, including advanced Excel skills
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Demonstrated ability to perform complex assignments or schedule
  • Strong analysis experience with solid problem solving abilities
  • Positive and professional approach with attention to detail and accuracy
  • Knowledge of IFRS and AP/AR systems

Job Role and Responsibilities

  • Prepare data required for weekly and monthly accounting reports
  • Analyze and assist in financial reporting, reconciliation, and related problem solving
  • Analyze several general ledger accounts and prepare sales and use tax returns
  • Support local and regional finance management with financial tasks and closing
  • Provide financial support to Financial Management, site leaders, and employees
  • Process accounts payable, manage cash receipts, and expense reports
  • Monitor accounts receivable for past due invoices
  • Input data entries
  • Assist with ERP system and problem resolution
  • Maintain customer and supplier files
  • Oversee annual audit and company tax preparation
