Program Manager Avionics

• Master degree or equivalent with at least 4 years of experience, preferably in Aviation industry or at least in a highly technical production environment.
• Excellent English communication skills at various levels.
• Strong organization, planning and time management skills.
• Proven experience as project lead with a pro-active approach and with major demanding customers
• Strong affinity for technical matters such as electronics and software. Education in any of these fields is a complementary asset
• PMI certified is an extra advantage

• You are the primary customer interface and establish customer satisfaction while meeting all contractual and internal financial requirements.
• You chair internal and customer program reviews.
• You interface with supporting government agencies for civil programs, including Belgian BCAA and European EASA
• You analyse requirements to develop focused program essentials, specifying goals, strategy, staffing need, scheduling, identification and management of risks, contingency plans, and best use of available resources
• You remain responsible for the execution of deliveries in series production phase, as well as the sustainment and change management of the product until successful handover to the aftersales/maintenance team.
• You direct and coordinate activities of assigned program personnel of the various disciplines (R&D, test department, subcontractors, purchase, operations, quality assurance) to ensure program progresses on schedule and within budget providing leadership and motivation to the project team members throughout the program life cycle.
• Together with a team of 5 you work in our complex electronic and embedded software display development and manufacturing programs leading to successful introduction of new products on the avionics market for various and/or dedicated civil and military customers
