RNA Series - Security
The RNA supports a set of standards-based security mechanisms when used in conjunction with security best practices will protect the system from both external and internal threats.
Physical separation between the server and workstation allows the servers to be located in a secure access controlled area to prevent tampering. As an added benefit the operator working environment is improved by eliminating server/network heat and noise.
All RNA USB ports are locked to recognize only HID devices, so the operator may not use a USB storage device to install malicious software or copy sensitive data from the server. All keyboard data is DTLS encrypted to prevent login and password sniffing.
The management platform access control (Web interface and Dapi) is secured with HTTPS and ECDH key exchange, password hashing SHA-256 and brute force protection. Software updates with signed debian, encrypted AES256/+SHA512 /RSA-3072, and all device non-volatile memory contains no operational data.
