Product description
ScioTeq’s KM Box brings exceptional advantages to the ATCO operating environment. Managing multiple displays at once is crucial for controllers to maintain situational awareness, monitor aircraft, and coordinate flights effectively across various airspaces. A keyboard-mouse box (KM box) that can handle up to five servers offers multiple advantages.
Single control for the ATCO Controller Working Position
The ScioTeq KM box is able to control multiple servers from a single keyboard mouse including multi-window/multi-layout resulting in an ergonomic and clutter-free controller working position for the Air Traffic Controller.
Control up to 5 servers with single HMI
Up to five independent servers (single or multi-head) can be connected to the KM box enabling the ATCO to control the system from a single HMI set.
Seamless HMI operation with multi-window and multi-layout
The KM Box enables a USB link to ScioTeq’s multi-window MDP displays to manage a seamless HMI operation across different windows and layouts on the multi-window operational screen.
Flexible design
The KM Box is available as standalone device or as a fully integrated solution with the MDP-843/2. This offers countless possibilities to organize the KM functionality to the controller worker position. HMI Stream: the KM Box offers additional data to any recording-agnostic solution with advanced meta-tagging and synchronized time stamps.
