The FDU-3138 is a 13x8 inch Flight Display Unit featuring multiple digital video inputs. Equipped with the latest, sunlight readable Active Matrix Liquid Crystal Display and LED backlight technology, the FDU-3138 provides high brightness and contrast along with excellent viewing angles in all directions. This allows the display to be mounted both vertically in front of the pilots and tilted horizontally in the pedestal, assuring perfect cross-cockpit vision.
All HW and SW of the FDU-3138 have been developed according to DO-178 and DO-254 up to DAL A. Therefore this display is the ideal front end for PART23 and PART25 electronic flight instrument systems.
