ScioTeq’s Neptune Ruggedized Workstation Makes Its Debut

ScioTeq’s Neptune Ruggedized Workstation made its debut at the 2025 Sea Air Space Expo, the US Navy League’s annual naval and maritime exposition showcasing cutting-edge Navy, Marine Corps, and Coast Guard platforms, communications, sensors, and combat systems. Sea Air Space is a premier maritime event that addresses threats & operations from underwater environments to outer space and provides the opportunities for the defense base, academia and other similar organizations to show the latest platforms and tools available.
This was the perfect context to introduce Neptune to the US Navy as THE next-generation console designed for the surface and subsurface fleet. It fulfills the operational requirements within CIC Rooms aboard surface and sub-surface ships while providing a compact yet powerful console for the most demanding Sonar, C&C, Fire Control and Situational Awareness Applications.
With 40 years of expertise and compliance with rigorous military standards, ScioTeq’s newest console solution meets the modern-day challenges of the maritime community by ensuring mission readiness, operational efficiency, and long-term cost savings for naval operations.
Features that set Neptune apart from other console approaches and make it such a powerful tool for the Navy include:
Modular & Configurable – provides customizable options including side wings, pre-qualified modules against MIL standards, and multiple display options for mission-specific needs
Scalable Display Options – using multiple VESA Mounting options supports 24” to 43” 2K/4K displays in side-by-side or top-down configurations. This allows for ease of installation, increased modularity and allows for use on various sized vessels in a wide array of capacities
RNA is embedded in the console which allows it to visualize and control remotely located sources.
Flexible Mounting Options – Supports 19” rack configurations or cost-effective pedestal mounts for optimized space management
Rugged & Military-Grade – Fully MIL-qualified to withstand harsh conditions at sea
Advanced System Diagnostics – Real-time monitoring of voltages, sensors, and control inputs for maximum reliability
Enhanced Human-Machine Interface (HMI) – Includes sealed and customizable keyboard, trackball, joystick, and action buttons for intuitive control
Future-Proof Design – Complete electronics overhaul ensures long-term adaptability and integration with evolving naval technologies
Today’s militaries are facing unprecedented challenges from adversaries the world over. The need for cutting edge technologies such as Neptune can help them face those challenges head-on. A short video demonstration of the Neptune Ruggedized Workstation follows and provides a clearer picture of the capabilities and functionality of the maritime community’s newest robust platform of the sea.
