The 7 students that worked on the ScioTeq Smart Hackathon case

From 12 to 14 March, Master students from 6 Belgian and French universities worked during the Smart Hackathon 2021 on business cases from 6 leading Belgian and French companies. The goal of this Hackathon was to find an innovative and creative solution for a business case that each of the 6 companies presented. ScioTeq was honored to be part of this event, and challenged the students to work around the question “How could AI, image processing and big data change ScioTeq's future?”

After a very intensive and probably exhaustive 48 hours, the team of student came out with some innovative ideas.
With limited upfront knowledge of aircraft, the students builded further on our IMBALS project, an Image based landing solution.

The team of students were awarded the price for the best presentation.
Congratulation to our 7 motivated and enthusiast students.
