ScioTeq is the OEM and official display partner of Honeywell for their Primus Elite upgrade program. Since 2010, ScioTeq is delivering the DU-875 display as part of the upgrade through Honeywell. In agreement with Honeywell, ScioTeq is now (since Jan 2026) entitled to offer a newly designed, obsolescence free, TSO certified, drop-in replacement for the DU-870 CRT display of Honeywell. 

This new design and approach results in an affordable and reliable drop-in replacement for DU-870 with extended warranty. This advanced display specifically focuses on achieving the lowest Size, Weight, and Power (SWaP) footprint as a highly cost-effective drop-in replacement for regional air transport installations.

Enhanced Design & Operational Efficiency

• Substantial weight savings: The LCD unit weighs just 7.0 kg (15.4 lb), offering significant weight savings compared to the ~11.3 kg (~25.06 lb) legacy Honeywell DU-870 CRT.
• Lower power consumption: Typical power consumption is only 34W (without heater), heavily reduced from the legacy 138W requirement.
• Improved cooling architecture: The unit is entirely convection cooled, eliminating the need for air-ducts or fans.
• Long-lasting performance: Operational reliability increases to ~8,800 hours compared to the legacy ~4,000 hours, featuring a 25-year repair expectancy and an extensive 48-month warranty.
